The NOXtec 3000 is an inhaled nitric oxide (NO) monitoring device, a gaseous vasodilator used primarily to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. By continuously sampling the flow delivered to the patient, the NOXtec 3000 is able to determine the concentration of nitric oxide that the patient is receiving and whether it is within predetermined threshold values.
The NOXtec 3000 also monitors the trace amount of nitrogen dioxide (NO2), a highly toxic gas that can compromise patient safety during the application of this therapy, so that a threshold value is not exceeded.
Monitoring module and user interface independent of each other to ensure patient safety.
Automatic calibration of the NO, NO2 and O2 sensors, even when the device is dosing.
Ethernet port for technical assistance in remote mode.
